This specific trip down to San Diego is one of my memorable experiences of 2017 thus far. Not only was I able to support my best friend for her last year in PCC, but I was able to spend it with a handful of our dearest friends too. This three day trip consisted of watching my best friend's performance in UCSD, enjoying the view at Sunset Cliffs, and every miscellaneous thing in between.
This was my first time stepping foot at this peaceful scenery and the first time that I knew I had to follow my gut instinct. When there are serious decisions I need to make, I normally wait and give chances to be sure that this is a choice I need to take. It was in this moment that I knew I couldn't prolong this lingering feeling and to take action for it. Some people may not understand why I made the choice that I did or they may construed the whole scenario, but I know this was a risk I'm willing to take. I knew this was the right thing to do if I wanted to my dreams to align with the life I wanted to live. If there's one advice I can give it's that we need to take that leap of faith and be brave enough to chase our own dreams instead of following the expectations others have for us. It may be an arduous start, but it will be rewarding After all, there is nothing better than to finally be your true and authentic self.
