TRAVEL
Out of all the times I have visited Nor Cal, this by far exceeded my previous experiences and future expectations. It was everything and more that I could have ever hoped for. This was my first "big girl" adventure alone. To some, traveling within the same state is not an adventure at all. But for me, traveling to experience new surroundings regardless of distance counts as an adventure. In perspective, everything is an adventure... if you allow it to be.
This was my first time riding on a plane alone, so I made sure I immersed myself throughout the whole experience. To to see the city lights below me and the clouds in front of me, felt so surreal. Here I was embarking on something beyond myself. It's funny isn't it? How things unfold in mysterious ways? I remember three years ago, I drove down PCH and randomly stopped at a beach. In the night sky, a light flickered in the distance. It was a plane. I closed my eyes and whispered, "one day, I'll fly on a plane. I'll go on an adventure." When I said it, I felt it in my entire being that it will happen. Three years since that day, here I am. Living out my dreams.
I explored all the places I wanted on my bucket list from Napa to Kirby Cove. As a perk, I was even shown hidden gems that are sprinkled throughout the city. To commemorate this milestone and life changing experience, I treated myself to a permanent souvenir. But above all else, I am forever thankful for my best friend. Without her, I wouldn't have taken this trip.
Below, I will have all the sites I have seen in case you'll like to add it to your bucket list.
Thank you for stopping by, until next time!
